Freshman Oilers sailed to an easy victory over Laguna Beach Freshman Breakers 10-1 on Saturday
Oilers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jason Dunham drew a walk, scoring one run.
Oilers scored five runs in the sixth inning. Oilers's big inning was driven by walks by Easton Shortle, Leo Aguilar, and Tommy August, passed ball for Grady Ream, and a double by Nathan Sammartano.
Dane Cunningham toed the rubber for Oilers. The righty allowed two hits and one run over four innings, striking out seven.
Cunningham went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Oilers in hits.
