Junior Varsity Oilers asserted their will over Marina on their way to an easy 9-1 victory
In the first inning, Oilers got their offense started when Marina’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Oilers.
Oilers tallied three runs in the second inning. Oiler’s big bats in the inning were led by singles by Jake Frohn and Tanner Edson.
Frohn got the start for Oilers and surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out five and walking one.
Edson went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Oilers in hits. Oilers tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Edson led the way with three. Oilers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
