Fred Angiuli wasted no opportunities at the plate on Tuesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Huntington Beach Junior Varsity Oilers past Corona del Mar Sea Kings 28-2 on Tuesday.
Oilers fired up the offense in the first inning when Angiuli drove in a three run homer.
Oilers put up 13 runs in the third inning. Matthew Haidl, Shawn Otta, Otto Espinoza, Tyler Soeltz, Jayton Greer, and Angiuli all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Jake Frohn was on the hill for Oilers. Frohn surrendered two runs on three hits over two and a third innings, striking out four.
Oilers tallied 21 hits. Haidl, Angiuli, Dylan Matejka, Aaron Minnicucci, Otta, Tanner Edson, and Espinoza each racked up multiple hits for Oilers. Haidl led Oilers with four hits in five at bats.
Angiuli led with 5 RBIs, Haidl and Otta with 4, Matejka and Espinoza with 3.
