Oilers Freshman defeated La Mirada 1-0 after walk off in tenth inning!

Freshman Oilers emerged victorious over the La Mirada Freshman Matadores with a 1-0 win, thanks to the combined efforts of three pitchers; Owen Bone, Mason Tapia and Nathan Sammartano's.

Both teams displayed strong pitching skills, with the Huntington Beach Freshman Oilers' pitchers striking out 18 batters and the La Mirada Freshman Matadores' pitchers striking out eight. 

Owen Bone began the game as pitcher for the Huntington Beach Freshman Oilers and allowed zero runs and three hits over four innings, striking out nine batters and walking one. 

The Huntington Beach Freshman Oilers totaled seven hits during the game, with Dane Cunningham and Owen Bone each recording multiple hits.
