Freshman Oilers defeated Corona Del Mar Sea Kings 9-0 on Thursday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Grady Ream induced a fly out from Cohen to finish off the game.

Oilers notched four runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Oilers was led by Tommy August, Gavin Pluma, and Jason Dunham, all driving in runs in the inning.
Owen Bone was on the mound for Oilers and went five and a third innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out ten.
